Six Shortcuts for using your BlackBerry Smartphone even better

image A BlackBerry is a must have device for many people. If you’re too busy using it to learn some of the easy to use shortcuts, then these quick tips are for you:

- On any BlackBerry, when reading email you can easily move forward and backwards through your emails. After reading your email message, press the “N” button and the next email will display. Likewise, pressing “P” brings up a previous email. Need to go back to the top? Just press “T”.

- Just like email, you can move next or previous while browsing a presentation slide using the “N” and “P” buttons. To watch the presentation as a slide show, press “S”, and stop the slideshow with the “Escape” button.

- When talking with someone on your BlackBerry, if you need to jot down a note during the call you can simply click the track wheel and select “Notes”. Type whatever you need to type and it gets saved along with the phone number or directory entry of the person you were talking with.

- Three way calling is easy. Call your first contact and then press the spacebar. That’ll bring up your call list and just select the next person you want to call. Your first caller will be put on hold automatically. Repeat for the next caller.

- If you want to quickly switch between applications, press “Alt-Escape” and it’ll cycle through each.

- Have you ever had your BlackBerry dial someone accidentally after putting it in your pocket? Just press and hold the “Mute” button to activate stand-by. To undo stand-by, just press and hold the “Mute” button again
